Red Boot Ranch

 Yesterday and Today

Steeped in deep family history going back into to the late 30”s, the Red Boot Ranch wasn’t always called what it’s known by today. Originally Getty’s Farm, owned and operated by Walter Lee Getty’s (local Postmaster and entrepreneur) and family, the “farm” as it was known was exactly that. In that day and for decades it operated as a working 254 acre farm, involved in the production of in those days, the current cash crops of cotton, corn and the rich and natural setting for cattle to graze.

Today, the third generation of this family still owns this land and its serene setting. Although, not quite as large, the Red Boot Ranch holds over 52 acres of rolling hills, pastures and woodlands, lakes and streams. It is a quite, peaceful setting for the equestrian lifestyle and also acts as a sanctuary for all types of South Carolina wildlife. Expansive vista views are the norm from the central locale of the barn and paddock areas. Life as it once was yesteryear, however today with a centrally situated, modern barn and covered banquet facility to host just about any outdoor event and special day you can image. We welcome you to our land island we call the Red Boot Ranch and are confident you will more than enjoy your stay with us. It is our wish and desire to help you make your dreams come true and your special event to be a wonderful eternal memory in your life.
